ABOUT ME

From the time I was little, I've wanted to be a writer. I got pulled in different directions over the years until I finally returned to my dream and landed at Trinity College Dublin for the master's programme in Creative Writing. I write a variety of things now, including poetry, personal essays, and travel articles. I recently finished my first novel and will be pursuing my PhD in Literary Practice this fall. My writing can be found in literary journals such as The Waxed Lemon, The Poetry Review, The Banyan Review, and The Montreal Poetry Prize Anthology. My stories can also occasionally be heard on RTÉ Radio 1's Sunday programme 'Sunday Miscellany'.

AFTER APRIL RAIN

A raven flying

My first poetry collection, After April Rain, features 29 poems and 9 illustrations that chart the course of one 'good girl' navigating 'long fields of skin', a 'drugstore temple on an asphalt mount', and 'the weather in my grandmother's living room...before her lungs rattled...not thunder rolling closer, but sunshine mobilising to depart'. (Longship Press, 2021)

'I think girl and hear thunder.'
